Job Description:

Our partner is looking for a Senior Technology Engineer to manage, optimize, and enhance infrastructure performance across Linux and Windows environments. This role is ideal for professionals with strong experience in systems administration, observability, and automation, who thrive in improving system reliability and operational efficiency within a collaborative environment.


Job Responsibilities

  • Administer, monitor, and troubleshoot Linux and Windows systems, ensuring high availability and performance.

  • Implement and optimize monitoring and observability solutions (SolarWinds, Datadog, Dynatrace, or similar).

  • Develop and maintain automation scripts using PowerShell, Python, or Bash to improve operational efficiency.

  • Analyze system and network performance using SNMP, telemetry, and device visibility tools.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve alerting quality, event management workflows, and reduce noise.

  • Ensure timely task execution and active participation in meetings, maintaining strong communication standards.


Must Have Skills

  • Great English proficiency (B2+ written and spoken).

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with systems administration across Linux and Windows, including troubleshooting and agent management.

  • Impeccable punctuality (schedules are flexible but being on time for meetings is crucial).

  • Proven experience with monitoring and observability tools such as SolarWinds, Datadog, Dynatrace, or similar.

  • Solid understanding of networking fundamentals, including SNMP, telemetry, and device visibility.

  • Strong scripting and automation skills using PowerShell, Python, or Bash within a DevOps-oriented workflow.


Nice to Have Skills

  • Experience with Azure monitoring and logging (Azure Monitor, Log Analytics).

  • Exposure to SIEM tools like Azure Sentinel or similar security visibility platforms.

  • Familiarity with hybrid cloud environments and observability for cloud workloads.

  • Experience improving alerting quality, event management workflows, and reducing noise.
